About Us

We are a charitable foundation with the arts and the education of young people at our heart.  Fagus Anstruther Memorial Trust is committed to providing unrestricted funding to grantees. We aim to give grantees maximum freedom to pursue their ambitions in a way that makes the most sense to them. By committing to unrestricted funding, we trust that they are experts in their field.

Founded by Sir Ian and Lady Anstruther in memory of Ian’s brother Fagus, we take a personal interest in the charities supported by the Trust and we are committed to building these relationships over time.
